Michelle Pitcher

Michelle is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners . She primarily works in the Sullivan, IN clinic and has more than 19 years of experience working in sexual and reproductive healthcare with her more recent work regarding sexual assault services. Michelle graduated from Indiana University Purdue University of Indianapolis with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Michelle received her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in 2020 and from the University of Southern Indiana. She is dedicated to serving and empowering individuals in underserved communities. Michelle is LGBTQ+ culturally competent certified and an advocate, champion, and supporter for sexual and reproductive health, gender care, crisis intervention care, and trauma informed care. In addition, she is a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) and offers this service to the community in the clinic. Michelle is the Clinical Services Director where she is responsible for the daily execution, development, implementation and management of her organization’s health and clinical services and insures the proper accountability of programs consistent with funding source guidelines and agency policies and procedures. Additionally, Michelle is passionate about empowering others to develop professionally. Her hobbies consist of spending quality time with family and friends, boating, book clubs, and traveling.
